Horror metal band Alchemia is currently in the studio recording their second album, “Become Human,” the follow-up to “Inception” (2021), released in Brazil by Shinigami Records and internationally by the Italian label WormholeDeath Records. The group, which blends elements of symphonic music and horror soundtracks with heavy metal, symphonic metal, gothic, industrial, black, and death metal, plans to release the material in 2026. “We are 100% focused on producing the follow-up to ‘Inception.’ Pre-production for ‘Become Human’ is already complete, and this time we selected the 10 best tracks from over 80 new compositions for this new album, which will be heavier,” reveals vocalist Victor Hugo Piiroja.
After recording live videos at Summer Breeze Open Air Brazil and Summer Breeze Germany, the group now presents “Sacrifice,” a track from the “Inception” repertoire, mixed and mastered by Danish artist Tue Madsen. “We wanted to record ‘Sacrifice’ live because it was the opening song for all the shows on the Inception Tour, and the audience’s reception always surprised us. The video was filmed at Horror Expo 2024 (SP) by the production company Dark Dragon Studio, a longtime partner of the band,” explains the vocalist.
